Trains have returned to a south Devon station which was badly damaged by fire on 21 July.
Three boys were arrested on suspicion of arson at Paignton station, and have been given conditional bail, but the line was closed between Torquay and Paignton while repairs and safety checks were carried out.
Trains are running again between Paignton, Newton Abbot, Exeter and Exmouth, but intercity services which usually run to Paignton are terminating at Exeter St David’s or Newton Abbot, where passengers for Torquay and Paignton are changing to local trains.
Long distance services cannot return to Paignton until a platform which can take nine-car trains has been repaired.
Network Rail said restoring the station in full will take ‘some time’.
